To put it short and sweet, Sabrina Carpenter is one of the nominees to watch during the 2025 Grammy Awards on Sunday.

The 25-year-old capped off her breakthrough 2024 with six nominations, including a spot in all four major categories. Along with Best New Artist, Carpenter is competing for Album of the Year for Short nSweet, Record of the Year for the chart-topping “Espresso,” and Song of the Year for “Please Please Please,” another No. 1 single.

Like Carpenter, Chappell Roan received six nominations off the success of her album The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess (2023). The 26-year-old is also eligible in the “Big Four” categories, with her single “Good Luck, Babe!” getting a nod for Record and Song of the Year.

While Carpenter and Roan are some of the new stars trying to make their mark, Beyoncé still reigns as queen. She has the most nominations of any artist this year with 11, including Album of the Year for Cowboy Carter as well as Record and Song of the Year for “Texas Hold ‘Em.” Beyoncé now has 99 career Grammy nominations, moving her out of a tie with her husband, Jay-Z, for the most ever.

Some of the other top nominees in 2025 include Post Malone and Charli XCX with eight each; Billie Eilish and Kendrick Lamar with seven; and Taylor Swift with six. Here are all of the 2025 Grammy nominations in the Big Four categories as well as some other artists and awards to keep an eye on. Plus, find out when and how to watch the 67th Grammy Awards.

Trevor Noah returns as host of the 2025 Grammy Awards.

On January 21, the Recording Academy announced that comedian and 2025 nominee Trevor Noah will helm the telecast for a fifth consecutive year. According to Billboard, only three others have hosted as many Grammy ceremonies: Andy Williams (7), John Denver (6), and LL Cool J (5).

Following an initial list of nine artists—all 2025 nominees—the Recording Academy confirmed additional live performers on Wednesday. The ceremony will include tributes to the late Quincy Jones and the city of Los Angeles, as well as the annual In Memoriam segment.

The full list of performers now includes:

Album of the Year Nominees

Beyoncé received her first Grammy nominations in the country music and Americana categories.

Beyoncé is looking to become the first Black woman to win Album of the Year this century. The last Black woman to receive the honor was Lauryn Hill in 1999 for The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. Aside from Hill, Natalie Cole and Whitney Houston are the only other women to achieve the feat. Talk about elite company.

The Beatles have won seven Grammys to date and received two nominations in 2025.

Nearly 30 years after their last Grammy nominations, the Beatles are competing for Record of the Year as well as Best Rock Performance for “Now and Then.” According to Billboard, the song is the first created with the assistance of artificial intelligence to receive a nomination. Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr used a form of AI called “stem separation” in which they isolated the late John Lennon’s vocal from a 50-year-old demo to create the track.

Song of the Year Nominees

Taylor Swift has never won in the Song of the Year or Record of the Year categories.

Swift has received 14 Grammys in her career, including four for Album of the Year. So, you might be surprised to learn she’s never won for Song of the Year. The 34-year-old has seven prior nominations in the category, including this past year for “Anti-Hero,” but is still seeking her first trophy. Same goes for Record of the Year, with five prior nominations.

More People to Watch at the 2025 Grammys

Beyoncé and Post Malone shake up the country categories

Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter was snubbed for the CMA Awards held in November, but the album is nominated for Best Country Album at the Grammys. Post Malone also made the cut with his first country project, F-1 Trillion. However, they face tough competition in the category from genre giants like defending winner Lainey Wilson, Chris Stapleton, and Kacey Musgraves.

Meanwhile, Morgan Wallen is riding the momentum of his Entertainer of the Year win at the CMAs and has his first two Grammy nominations in Best Country Duo/Group Performance and Best Country Song for “I Had Some Help,” his collaboration with Malone.

Charli XCX is spoiling for a win with BRAT

Charli XCX is nominated in seven categories at the Grammy Awards.

Prior to this year, Charli XCX had only two career nominations, both in 2015 for her collaboration “Fancy” with rapper Iggy Azalea. Now, the 32-year-old British star has more than tripled her chances at a first win with eight nominations off the success of her album BRAT.

In addition to the Album of the Year and Record of the Year, she is competing for Best Pop Solo Performance, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, Best Dance Pop Recording, Best Dance/Electronic Album, and Best Remixed Recording. The video for her song “360”—featuring cameos from Chloë Sevigny, Rachel Sennott, and Julia Fox—is also nominated for Best Music Video.

Jimmy Carter won a posthumous trophy

The Grammys are about more than music, and former U.S. President Jimmy Carter is the most notable example. He was posthumously honored with the Best Audiobook, Narration, and Storytelling Recording award for Last Sundays in Plains: A Centennial Celebration. It marks his fourth trophy from the Recording Academy.

Dave Chappelle began a comedy award hot streak

Dave Chappelle won his second straight (and sixth overall) Grammy for Best Comedy Album with The Dreamer. That moves him into second all-time behind Bill Cosby.
