This year, the days July 8-11 are now bookmarked in the calendars of veteran Prime Day shoppers. If you’re intrigued by the idea of Audible but have never subscribed, it’s worth noting that you can snag a great deal exclusively for new members: three months of subscription for free under Audible Premium Plus (a $45 value). Oh, and that means you’ll also get three free audiobooks, too! More on that later. What's also special about this deal is that instead of ending on July 11, it ends on the 31st instead.
A membership with Audible means a few things. One, it means you’ll obviously have access to audiobooks. But then, you’ll also see that podcasts and Audible original works are also available.
With the basic plan that Audible is offering in this deal, subscribers will be able to select one audiobook per month. (Hence the aforementioned three free audiobooks.) This can be from any title in the unmatched collection, which includes bestsellers and new releases. When you add all of these up, it becomes thousands of titles and options that are available to you. That alone is enough to overwhelm me.
For other titles not in the unmatched collection, subscribers will still be offered exclusive sales on those titles.
Audible will begin charging you $15 a month after the three-month free trial. You have the option to cancel beforehand, but you can also switch to the basic Audible Premium plan, which costs $8 per month. This plan will have all the same perks minus the one free book credit a month.
Audible Audio Book Deals
There are numerous audiobooks to choose from when searching on Amazon and Audible. Though, if I had to choose myself, it would probably be the below. In fact, I’ve read all of these choices, including Dune by Frank Herbert and Great Big Beautiful Life by Emily Henry, and would absolutely love to hear these read to me via audiobook form.
That said, while these audiobooks would technically be free (one a month) with your subscription, it’s worth noting that you could choose to buy these at face value if you choose not to subscribe.
