Lots of people want e-readers these days, and it's not hard to understand why. Bookworms everywhere know just how convenient it is to carry around an electronic device that holds all of the pages you're currently reading. However, Kindles aren't always exactly cheap. For example, higher-end models like the Scribe can amount to almost $400 depending on the kit you get.
Occasionally, Amazon will slash the prices on these Kindles, allowing you to snag 'em for cheaper. But, an evergreen way to score a discount is to look for refurbished options.
Amazon has plenty of certified-refurbished Kindles available on the Amazon Renewed store, a storefront on the retailer. It's an excellent place to shop for used items that actual testers ensure still work properly. Moreover, if the company gets products from a third-party seller, the seller also tests and inspects the product.
