Here’s what you’ll learn when you read this story:

  • Gigi and Bella Hadid are some of the most famous siblings on the planet, but they actually have several siblings.
  • In 2023, the models met their younger half-sister, Aydan Nix, for the first time.
  • Nix grew up with her mother and didn’t know she was related to the Hadid family until she was 19.

There’s another gorgeous member of the Hadid family in our midst. Models Gigi Hadid and Bella Hadid revealed they have a younger half-sister named Aydan Nix. In a statement to the Daily Mail on Thursday, the Hadid sisters confirmed that Aydan is the daughter of their father, real estate developer Mohamed Hadid, and Terri Hatfield Dull.

“Over 20 years ago, our dad, while single, had a brief relationship that led to a pregnancy,” they said in the statement. “Aydan was born and raised in Florida, growing up with the man she lovingly knew as her father until his sudden passing when she was 19. After his passing, she decided to take a genetic test out of curiosity, and that’s how she discovered a biological connection to us.”

Gigi, 30, and Bella, 28, said they met their 23-year-old half-sister back in 2023. “From that moment on, we’ve embraced Aydan with open arms,” they said. “She’s spent time with all of us, including our dad, and we’ve cherished this unexpected and beautiful addition to our family.”

Gigi and Bella grew up on a ranch in Santa Barbara with their younger brother, Anwar. Their father and mother, model Yolanda Hadid, were together until 2000. The Hadid siblings also have two older half-sisters, Marielle and Alana, also on their father’s side.

According to the Daily Mail, Mohamed “always knew about Aydan but has not provided financial support,” while a source close to the family says, “There’s mutual respect. But there’s also discretion.”

The models have urged the public to respect Aydan’s privacy.
