Prince Harry is en route to Singapore—and is prioritizing comfort as he flies.
While Meghan Markle was jamming out to Taylor Swift at the Eras Tour in Los Angeles, Harry was in Tokyo for a summit on the power of sports. While there, he spoke about the power of sport as a "conduit for healing" and about the impact playing on a team has had on his life. He's about to put that into action; this weekend, he is set to play in Sentebale's annual Polo Cup in Singapore at the Singapore Polo Club.
Harry departed Tokyo along with his friend and polo teammate Nacho Figueras. At Japan's Haneda Airport, the two were spotted in casual outfits as they boarded. Harry, in particular, wore a pair of slip-on sneakers by Vince: the "Pacific Corduroy Suede Sneaker," perhaps a subtle nod to his new California home on the Pacific Ocean. (The brand confirmed to Town & Country that Harry was wearing the Pacific style.) According to the shoe's description, the minimalist slip-on sneakers are corduroy suede with smooth rubber soles. The slip-on nature makes them perfect for travel—especially for a long flight, like the one between Tokyo and Singapore (which is over seven hours). The bonus: They're currently on a major sale on the Vince website.
If you're looking for a women's version of Prince Harry's travel sneakers, you're in luck. Vince makes a number of slip-on sneakers for all genders, including in a similar camel color in suede for women. (But not in corduroy.) Their Warren sneaker is a "suede slip-on sneaker with a double-thick rubber platform sole that is hollowed to ensure a lightweight."
