- Hilary Duff is back in the spotlight with upcoming Vegas shows this Valentine’s weekend as part of her Small Rooms, Big Nerves tour.
- We broke down her effortlessly glam beauty look below.
The days of Hilary Duff not performing are so yesterday. The singer has recently embarked on a new tour after nearly 18 years off the stage, and fans are thriving on nostalgia, viral dance moves, and, of course, her undeniable fashion sense. Duff sported denim on denim, sparkles galore, knee-high boots, and so much more—including one beautiful matte makeup look after another.
With the star’s upcoming Las Vegas show, the Lizzie McGuire actress’s makeup artist, Kelsey Deenihan, shared the roadmap on how exactly this effortless makeup look was achieved. Therefore, we laid out all the details on how you can recreate this pop-star-worthy glam at home, using products from popular brands like Armani Beauty, L’Oréal Paris, Charlotte Tilbury, and Colourpop. Keep scrolling to add Duff’s go-to products to your daily makeup rotation, starting at just $9.
Face
When it comes to celeb makeup, the most important step is prepping the face. Deenihan says that she wanted to achieve “luminous, polished, and effortlessly cool” skin that remained glowing under the stage lights. Therefore, she applied Luna Bronze tanning water to the face, neck, and decolletage to create a soft, natural radiance. Deenihan then opts for Armani Beauty’s blurring foundation or Naked Sunday’s foundation tint, depending upon the look, bronzer, concealer, and setting powder.
Cheeks
Putting on blush is easy—but having it stay on for hours is the hard part. Deenihan reaches for a blend of the highly rated Tower 28 blush in shade magic hour, and the Naked Sundays glow balm peptide stick in shade dusty rose pink. She then finishes the cheeks with the Stila Cosmetics highlighter in the kitten hue.
Eyes
Hilary Duff is known to rock a smokey eye, and this tour proves no different. The artist used the Colourpop eyeshadow palette, which offers 20 cool-toned shades in matte or metallic finishes, and the Patrick Ta eyeshadow duo in Slate Sparkle (featuring two brown tones). The lid is then topped with a glimmering shadow from Moira Starshow, while the lashes are lengthened, volumized, and curled with a L’Oreal Paris mascara.
Lips
Your makeup look is about to undergo a metamorphosis with these lip products. Deenihan reaches for the Make Up For Ever color pencils in Walnut or Caffeine. The Walnut hue matches well with the Tom Ford Lipstick in Sable Smoke and the Iris & Romeo Lip Balm in Dawn. The Caffeine lip liner shade pairs perfectly with Makeup By Mario’s Plumping Lip Serum in a light pink and Naked Sundays’ Lip Oil in Salted Caramel.
Body
The body makeup is what really pulls her look together. Deenihan says she finished the body with Luna Bronze bronzing cream, focusing on the shoulders, collarbones, arms, and legs. The product adds a “warmth, glow, and subtle dimension” that allows the light to catch and reflect beautifully on the skin, even without a stage setup.
