Best Ghost Rider Merch Ahead of Ryan Gosling’s Marvel Movie

Hall H has heard plenty of announcements. It rarely makes the noise it made on July 26, when Kevin Feige closed out Marvel's San Diego Comic-Con panel by walking Ryan Gosling onstage to the sound of a revving motorcycle. “Wow. Is this really happening?” Gosling asked the crowd. "As you know, this is a character I've wanted to play for a very long time."

It's happening! Gosling is the MCU's new Ghost Rider, in a standalone film riding into theaters in 2028. Marvel hasn't released a synopsis yet, but it’s reported Gosling is playing Johnny Blaze, the motorcycle stuntman who makes a deal with a demon and winds up bonded to the Spirit of Vengeance, a supernatural force that burns his skull down to bone and delivers judgment to the guilty. Nicolas Cage rode first, in 2007 and 2011, and Gabriel Luna played Robbie Reyes on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., but this is Gosling's first comic book role ever.
