You don't have to be an avid soccer watcher to know the name Lionel "Leo" Messi. The seasoned athlete's career and life is difficult to summarize in few words, but his latest collaboration with Stanley 1913 aims to pay ode to it.
This is the second time that Messi and the American drinkware company have joined forces. This time around, Messi and Stanley are launching tumblers, travel mugs, and other bottles—but the key difference is the colorway. Each bottle is a light blue with gold accents, paying homage to Messi's style, as well as his Argentinian heritage.
“I've been fueling my mornings with mate from my Stanley 1913 mate system and gourd for as long as I can remember, so this partnership truly reflects and celebrates my daily ritual,” Messi said in a statement.
Like most Stanley celebrity partnerships, this one is limited edition. It's available starting today, July 22, on Stanley's official website. It features some staple items, like the High Precision Flow Mate System that Messi mentioned in his quote, just in the blue and gold combo.
The entire collection includes the staple Quencher ProTour Flip Straw Tumbler, the IceFlow Flip Straw Jug, the IceFlow Flip Straw Bottle, and the Classic Mate Mug. Every item in this launch comes with double-wall vacuum insulation, and is dishwasher-safe and BPA-free. Most options are leakproof, too.
