The winter season is about to heat up with Avatar: Fire and Ash, the new blockbuster sequel from director James Cameron. Before the Academy Award winner brought Pandora to life, however, he risked his money and reputation with his most famous movie, Titanic.

Before heading to the theater, you can learn about Cameron’s film career and Avatar stars Zoe Saldaña, Kate Winslet, and Sigourney Weaver at Biography.com. Check out our full collection of episodes as well, including the controversial history of Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You.”
