The summer of Selena Gomez is going strong. She recently revealed on Instagram the upcoming release of a new Rare Beauty eyebrow gel and her fourth studio album. Although we still have to wait for her new music and makeup product to drop, we've got the recent season 3 premiere of Only Murders in the Building on Hulu to help keep us entertained each week ahead of her new releases.
During the season 2 cliffhanger finale, we saw Gomez's character Mabel Mora, Charles-Haden Savage (Steve Martin), and Oliver Putnam (Martin Short) watch Putnam's Broadway show, and we also started Season 3 joining the three at a juicy afterparty in Oliver's apartment. For the fête, Gomez sported an emerald green asymmetrical midi dress with a one-shoulder bodice from Michelle Mason. The silk dress is available in three other colors, including sunshine yellow, deep blue, and burnt sienna.
Mora's gorgeous dress continued to get some love during the season 3 premiere episode. Her outfit quickly became a talking point in our group chat as well as for Selenators, aka Gomez's most passionate fans.
This also isn't the first time Gomez has worn an emerald green dress. During a press run for season 2 of Only Murders in the Building, Gomez sported an off-the-shoulder emerald green dress for an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live. It's safe to say Gomez is a fan of the color, as she has rocked emerald jewelry on the SAG and Emmy Awards red carpets, too.
Inspired by Gomez's take on event styling, we did some digging and found five standout dresses to help you achieve the Mabel Mora look to make everyone else green with envy.
