Vanessa Trump didn’t address boyfriend Tiger Woods—or his dramatic rollover crash—in her latest posts on social media. The former daughter-in law of President Donald Trump, instead reshared posts showing her daughter, Kai Trump, attending the Miami Open tennis tournament and answering fan questions on Instagram.
Vanessa hasn’t said anything publicly about Woods, whom she has dated since at least March 2025. The golf star was arrested after a two-car accident on March 27 in Jupiter Island, Florida, and charged with driving under the influence. According to USA Today, Woods was not under the influence of alcohol, but authorities determined he was impaired.
After weeks of speculation, Trump and Woods made their romance official in March 2025, with Woods sharing photos of the two on social media. “Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side! We look forward to our journey through life together,” the 50-year-old wrote. Vanessa, 48, shared the post on her Instagram story the same day.
The pair had reportedly dated for several months prior and were spotted at various golf events together. Vanessa’s former sister-in-law Ivanka Trump gave her blessing on the new relationship on Instagram, commenting, “So happy for you both!”

Working as a model and actor in her hometown of New York City, Vanessa Haydon first met Donald Trump Jr. at a fashion show in Manhattan. The pair were introduced by his father, who was hosting the reality series The Apprentice at the time. During the fashion show’s intermission, the father-son duo approached her again.
“Donald comes back up to me again, ‘I don’t think you’ve met my son Donald Trump Jr.,’’ Vanessa recalled to The New York Times in 2006. “‘Yeah, we just met, five minutes ago,’” she responded. Six weeks later, they were reintroduced by a mutual friend at a birthday party. While Vanessa and Donald Jr. didn’t immediately remember each other, they hit it off and ended up talking for an entire hour.
Her engagement ring was free
After one year of dating, the couple got engaged in November 2004. Donald Jr. proposed to Vanessa with an engagement ring he received for free. While the ring was worth around $100,000, it was gifted to him in exchange for publicly proposing in front of a New Jersey jewelry store with paparazzi waiting for them.

Kai is an avid golfer and often plays in the same golf tournaments as Charlie. In addition to watching their children’s golf events, both Vanessa and Tiger were seen together at a TGL match in March 2025—several weeks before they announced their romance.
Vanessa reportedly “has her hands full” with Woods
The couple share little publicly about their relationship, but sources close to Trump and Woods have offered more details following Woods’s most recent accident.
Someone close to the pair told People that Vanessa “has her hands full sometimes” with Woods, who suffers from multiple injuries that have kept him off the golf course. He underwent a seventh back surgery in 2025 and also ruptured his Achilles tendon the same year.
Still, the importance of golf in both their lives has helped stabilize their relationship. “She is happy with him and any issues they have are not about her. It’s dealing with his frustrations about playing great golf and his pain that at some times is really confining,” the source said.
