Perhaps unlike Carrie Bradshaw (the character she’s spent decades portraying) Sarah Jessica Parker likes to keep things simple—at least when it comes to her skincare routine. So simple, in fact, that her must-have product has remained consistent over the years. She tells Prevention that she has “always used” RoC’s Retinol Correxxion Max Skin Hydration Cream.

The 58-year-old And Just Like That... star (who is an ambassador for the brand) tells Prevention, “The night cream that I’ve always used from RoC is the Max Hydration, and I think it’s heavenly.”
Though Parker’s go-to product has remained consistent, her take on skincare has changed. The Sex and the City icon says that over time, the types of products she uses have changed. Now, she’s added retinol to her routine—but not without some skepticism.
“I have sensitive skin,” Parker says, admitting that she initially thought the powerful skincare ingredient would cause a reaction. “I used to think corrective things were intimidating because I didn’t know what my [skin’s] reaction would be.” And now her go-to product happens to have retinol in it.
