There’s no one better person to take style tips from than a recent Oscars winner. Mikey Madison, who won the Best Actress in a Leading Role award for the highly acclaimed film Anora, took home the coveted trophy in a stunning Dior gown. (Other A-listers in the category included Demi Moore, Cynthia Erivo, Fernanda Torres, and Karla Sofia Gascón). Madison matched the pink-and-black Breakfast at Tiffany’s-inspired look with a sleek updo, a gorgeous diamond necklace, and traditional matte makeup.
We loved this look so much that we took a few tips from the Scream star’s celeb hair stylist, Rena Calhoun, so that you can recreate the red-carpet look at home. Skincare

She first boosted the skin with a host of nourishing products from Blue Lagoon Iceland, starting with its mineral mask. She then rinsed with a serum (for an unwavering radiance), slathered on a moisturizing cream, and hydrated the under-eyes with a simple serum.
Hernandez also used an unlikely product as the actress’s body highlight — one that’s actually available in most drugstores. Spoiler alert: It’s Aquaphor! “Instead of spraying directly onto the skin, I misted Aquaphor Healing Ointment Moisturizing Body Spray into my hands and pressed it along the collarbones and shoulders. This technique gives me complete control over placement, ensuring the glow hits exactly where I want it — enhancing dimension and radiance without overdoing the shine.”
To finish, Hernandez opted for a few drops of face oil and “pressed it into [Madison’s] skin for that extra glow.”

Makeup
For the makeup, Hernandez additionally broke down the actress’s effortless glam on Instagram. Primarily using Armani Beauty, the artist began with a glowing highlighter, silk foundation, and concealer. She then built upon the subtle look with the brand’s highly-rated bronzer, cheek tint, and yet another shimmering highlighter.
To achieve Madison’s chic dark eyeliner, Hernandez reached for a smooth eye pencil (drawn above the eye and on the lower lash line), volumizing mascara (paired with an eyelash curler), and a medium pink lipstick that would last throughout the night.

Hair
Before blow-drying her hair, Calhoun used Bumble and bumble’s $34 Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil Primer to create sleek, hydrated ends. She then brushed out any knots with Tangle Teezer’s $19 Ultimate Detangler on the actress’s clean, damp hair. The hairbrush is available at Ulta in three beautiful colors: Champagne Gold, Chocolate Bronze, and Mauve Copper.
“The bun is sculpted in a way that emulates the softness of a ribbon,” Calhoun said. Bumble and bumble’s $37 Thickening Dryspun Texture Spray was applied to encourage volume. Once the hair was completely dry, the stylist twisted the hair into a classic updo, “continuing to work sections of the hair to create shape.” The hairdo was then locked in with the brand’s cruelty-free and sustainably packaged Spray De Mode Flexible Hold Spray.
