Bring out the popcorn and that Eras tour movie bucket you saved because Taylor Swift just announced she's releasing another version of her record-breaking live concert. Swift announced in an Instagram post that The Eras Tour is coming to your television screens on March 14th at 6pm PST. “I’m delighted to tell you that you’ll be able to watch Taylor Swift l The Eras Tour (My Version) a few hours earlier than expected!” she captioned it. The film will feature the entire concert for the “first time ever,” including fan favorite song, cardigan, and four new acoustic songs — teasing maroon as one of them.

Taylor’s Version of the concert movie will be available on Disney+. The streaming service does not offer a free trial, so you’ll have to sign up for the basic plan (with ads for $7.99 per month) or the premium plan (no ads for $13.99 per month). Disney+ also offers a joint plan with Hulu (either the duo basic or duo premium) or a trio plan with Hulu and ESPN+ (either the trio basic or trio premium). The differences in pricing depend upon your choice of advertisements—or lack thereof.

In October 2023, Swift initially dropped Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour in partnership with AMC Theaters. According to a press release, the film racked up $261.6 million globally—higher than any other concert film or documentary in history, including the former record holder, Michael Jackson’s This Is It. This is also not the first time that Swift has teamed up with Disney+, as Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions was available for streaming in 2020 before the release of her ninth studio album, Evermore. It’s a smart move to drop the latest Eras Tour concert film a few hours ahead of midnight. That way friends and family can watch on the premiere date versus waiting until the next day. We are ready to throw on our favorite cardigans when you are!
