Van Dyke recently announced he will be doing something special to celebrate his 100th birthday. In an Instagram post on Wednesday, the legendary actor revealed his plans to release a new memoir about how he’s been able to keep his zest for life. Titled 100 Rules for Living to 100: An Optimist’s Guide to a Happy Life, the book is set to be released on November 18 by Hachette.
“As Dick Van Dyke’s 100th birthday approaches, he’s sharing his experiences and life lessons on growing older while keeping that inner child thriving too,” the caption read. If that wasn’t exciting enough, the 99-year-old’s book is now available to pre-order online.
