Born in Russia, Irving Berlin was a composer and lyricist, widely considered one of the greatest American songwriters in history. During his 60-year career he wrote some 1,500 songs, including "White Christmas," "Happy Holidays," "There's No Business Like Show Business" and "God Bless America."
