Tony Shalhoub is an actor known for his quirky lead role on the TV show Monk, among many others.


Tony Shalhoub ventured into TV in 1986 playing a terrorist in the series The Equalizer. He quickly moved on to more-substantial roles, such as in the series Wings (1991–97). Shalhoub has also starred in films, such as the Men in Black fimls. His show Monk, which premiered in 2002 and ended in 2009, earned Shalhoub numerous honors, including multiple Emmy Awards and Screen Actors Guild Awards.
