Susan Faludi is a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist known for her books on gender and the media: Backlash, Stiffed and The Terror Dream.


Born on April 18, 1959, in New York City, Harvard grad Susan Faludi went on to become a journalist for publications like The New York Times, Miami Herald and The Wall Street Journal, winning the Pulitzer Prize. Her award-winning book Backlash looked at media distortions of womanhood after the rise of the feminist movement. Faludi's other works include Stiffed and The Terror Dream.
