Indian director and producer Raj Kapoor was one of the great entertainers known to Indian films. By the age of 24 he established his own studio, R.K Films, and began his directorial career, starting with Aag. He went onto direct, produce and act in many box office hits. He is famous as the "Charlie Chaplin of Indian cinema," often portraying the cheerful tramp in films. Kapoor died of complications from asthma in the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) located in New Delhi, India.
