Pedro de Alvarado
Spanish conquistador Pedro De Alvarado was known for his skill as a soldier and for his cruelty to the native populations of Mexico. He was second in command to Hernán Cortés in the expedition for the conquest of Mexico where he occupied the Aztec capital city of Tenochtitlán, killing hundreds of natives in the process.
