LaDainian Tomlinson is an American professional gridiron football player who was one of the most productive running backs in NFL history.


LaDainian Tomlinson was born June 23, 1979 in Rosebud, Texas. He finished fourth in the voting for the Heisman Trophy in 2000 and was selected by the San Diego Chargers with the fifth overall pick in the first round of the NFL draft in 2001. In 2006 he broke both Shaun Alexander's record for most touchdowns scored in one season and the record for most single-season points scored.
