
H. R. Haldeman Biography
Synopsis
Popularly known as the 'Iron Chancellor', H.R. Haldeman managed Richard Nixon's 1968 presidential campaign and was appointed White House chief of staff following Nixon's victory. He worked on Nixon's 1972 presidential campaign as well and went to prison in 1975 for the Watergate scandal and other offenses including conspiracy, perjury, and obstruction of justice.
