Following news that ‘The Big Bang Theory’ will end in 2019, Entertainment Weekly reported that it was because Jim Parsons “was ready to say goodbye” to the series, reportedly turning down $50m for two more seasons. Parsons has won four Emmys for his role as Sheldon Cooper.
