Director and producer Geroge Roy Hill was born on December 20, 1921 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Hill directed some of the most popular films of the 1960s and 1970s, including Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and The Sting. He also wrote and produced a number of television programs and Broadway plays.
