Benny Parsons was best known for his success as a NASCAR driver and, following retirement, as a TV analyst for NASCAR races.


Benny Parsons, North Carolina native, was a successful NASCAR driver, winning 21 titles in his career. This leads to him being voted one of the 50 best NASCAR drivers of all time and inducted into the Stock Car Racing Hall of Fame. Parsons was able to transition into TV, as an analyst for ESPN, winning an Emmy in 1996.
