Anouk Aimée is an acclaimed French actress known for her roles in works like The Lovers of Verona, 8½, La Dolce Vita and A Man and a Woman.


Born on April 27, 1932, in Paris, France, Anouk Aimée would go on to star in The House on the Sea as a teen and won renown for her role in The Lovers of Verona. She starred in the Federico Fellini films La Dolce Vita and and received an Oscar nomination for the 1966 romance A Man and a Woman. More recent work has included Dr. Bethune, Ready to Wear and Happily Ever After.
