The beloved former New York Yankee is considered one of the greatest catchers of all time and the winner of 10 world championships, the most in baseball history. But he's also made history as a wordsmith: He's the sports figure with the most entries in Bartlett's Familiar Quotations

Yogi even one-upped poet Robert Frost. In his poem "The Road Not Taken," Frost famously mused about making a decision when faced with the proverbial fork in the road of our lives, but Yogi took it to another level, straight up with a wink, and told us to just go for it.
