In today’s celebrity-crazed world, A-listers are constantly being pursued by paparazzi as they snap their every movement at lightening speed. But back during the Victorian era, taking photos was a time-consuming process with subjects having to stand or sit still for long periods of time (no wonder no one smiled).

For our own amusement (and yours, of course), we decided to meld these two worlds together and add some celebrity smiles from the future but keep the Victorian garbs of the past intact.

George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin

Eye of the Tiger: Looks like George Clooney is pointing out which third-world country he and a portly Amal Alamuddin can save next... rowrrr!

Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes

Bundling Up Their Bundle of Joy: For all future baby bumps that Ryan Gosling helps co-create, Eva Mendes should consider using this fur coat to keep them clandestine from the photogs.

Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka

We're So Cute We Can't Stand Ourselves: Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka looking doubly dapper in matching outfits. Twinsies!

Beyonce, Jay-Z, Blue Ivy

Destiny's Child: Beyonce, Jay-Z and baby Blue Ivy look so crazy in love.

Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis (REV2)

Love in the Time of Kabbalah: Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis keep their affection alive by going elbow to elbow.

Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem

They're Taking Sexy Back: Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem keep the veil on regarding their personal lives, but their sex appeal is too public for their own good.

Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, and North

Da-da Smile? Mama, Where's My Milk Supply? A rare showing of happiness from Kanye West and an unprecedented covered-up Kim Kardashian could explain the confusion on adorbs Baby North's face.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner

Does Ben Affleck look like he cares if Jennifer Garner has an eternal baby bump? (And in this pic, you couldn't see it anyway.)

Kate Middleton and Prince William victorian

Kate Middleton and Prince William seamlessly transpose into Victorian era royalty. Shocking? We think not.
