On June 20, 1975, Steven Spielberg, the master of the summer blockbuster, scared the bejesus out of us with Jaws. The film was based on Peter Benchley’s novel and with its ominous theme music ripe with the power of suggestion, we can thank Mr. Spielberg for one hell of a ride.

The film also included one of the most memorable lines in the history of film: "You're gonna need a bigger boat," uttered by Chief Martin Brody (Roy Scheider) when he first sees the man-eating chum-sucker.

Do you remember the first time you saw Jaws? Were you scared?
