“She was so adorable, so witty, such incredible fun and more physically attractive than anyone I could have imagined, apart from herself on the screen,” - Sir Laurence Olivier on Marilyn Monroe.
Just months after her 36th birthday, Marilyn Monroe was found dead in her Brentwood home on August 5, 1962. Conflicting reports about her final hours (e.g. missing phone lists and diary, changing accounts by those who found her body, etc.) have fueled suspicions to this day.
We may never find the answers around her untimely death, but Monroe's legacy is as bright as the stars.
