The 15-year-old dancer is new to Hollywood so she’s off to an impressive start, landing the plum role of the young Selina Kyle, who eventually grows up to be Catwoman, on Fox's highly watched show 'Gotham.' Inspired by the DC Comics, it’s the origin story of Gotham City detective Jim Gordon (played by Ben McKenzie), covering the pre-Batman years when Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz of Fox’s Touch) is still a child.

“She’s interesting because she doesn’t know she’s Catwoman yet,” Bicondova told Bio when we sat down with the budding starlet at a rooftop Fox party in Hollywood. For now, “She’s just a teenager who loves cats, and who steals things…she’s just surviving,” she said, “so I have to discover her history a little more. There are many layers to her that I have to keep digging up.”

Becoming Catwoman may seem daunting for the shy, young actress, but it sounds like she’s a natural. “I’ve been dancing since I was five, so that comes in handy,” Bicondova said. In addition to her dance training, which includes hip-hop, ballet, jazz and contemporary, Bicondova also practiced Parkour – an intensive training discipline developed from military obstacle courses – to help her hone her cat-like reflexes.

“It’s really awesome,” the actress told us of the technique. “It’s more jumping off things and running off things, climbing and swinging, it’s stunt techniques,” she said, adding that she hopes it will allow her to do more of her own Catwoman stunts.

She also got some help preparing for the part from Mister G – her cat.

“I did watch my cat, I notice how he jumps, how he grooms himself,” she explained to reporters, “and I also looked up Cats the Musical on YouTube and got a lot of inspiration from that, too.”

Oh, and for the record: Camren’s favorite Catwoman of All-Time? That would be Michelle Pfeiffer.

Gotham airs on Mondays at 8 p.m. on Fox.
