Country queen Dolly Parton has issued a personal apology to a visitor to her Dollywood Splash Country theme park. The visitor, a woman who was attending with her wife, was sporting a “Marriage is so gay” t-shirt. She was asked to turn her shirt inside out at the park’s entrance, and complied before entering. A Dollywood rep said the request was made “in the spirit of the dress code.” Parton issued a personal statement, saying, “Everyone knows of my personal support of the gay and lesbian community. Dollywood is a family park and all families are welcome.” <
