Veteran French actor Gerard Depardieu committed a major faux pas in the air today. Aboard a flight bound for Dublin, the plane was still on the ground at Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris when Depardieu heard nature's call. When he was told he had to wait 15 minutes till after takeoff to use the restroom, the renowned French actor apparently couldn't hold it—and urinated on the cabin floor. Outlaw of the air is a new role for Depardieu, who's been a staple of French cinema for over 30 years. The 62-year-old actor has had a few untoward incidents in the past, including a drunken appearance on a late night show and a very public verbal bashing of French siren of the screen Juliette Binoche. The plane was grounded for two hours while the crew tried to clean up. Later the carrier joked about the incident on Twitter. "As you may have seen on the news, we are busy mopping the floor of one of our planes this morning,” and later, “We’d also like to remind all passengers that our planes are fully equipped with toilet facilities." Thankfully, no "oui oui" jokes.
