David W Robinson is a freelance writer, a memoirist by an avocation, and a “big data” management and analysis consultant by profession. He started writing in earnest in the early 2000s, inspired by a three-year trip around the world funded by a major law firm in order to teach lawyers, secretaries, and paralegals how to use MS Word and Windows. He has studied with Hettie Jones at the 92nd Street Y. David also spent many years as a founding member of a storytelling collective “Queer Stories for Boys” that was born out of a Tim Miller workshop at P.S. 122 in the early 1990s. The group first met at the NYC Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Community Center and performed at Dixon Place and HERE.
