A recent Harvard grad, 23-year-old Laura, has just moved home to begin a promising new career as a Washington, D.C. lawyer. So when she disappears one day, her family immediately fears the worst. Days later, police find Laura's bloodstained pillowcase a half mile from their home. But where is Laura? And is she still alive? Famous for locating the missing, local psychic Deborah Heineker offers to help. But when she "tunes in" to a photo of Laura, she herself is puzzled by the visions. Heineker sees a woman with masculine energy wrapping Laura in a sheet, and believes the suspect left the crime scene wearing the victim's clothes. Can police string together the cryptic clues?
