A Taxing Death
After heading out for a routine day of appointments, Montana state auditor Walter Sullivan disappears. Nine days later, his body is found at the bottom of a cliff beside his mangled car. Sullivan has been bludgeoned, bound and gagged and shot through the back of his neck. Despite the best efforts of local sheriff Dave Robbins, the case goes unsolved for five years. But when a new investigator is assigned the case, he makes the unusual decision to turn to psychic Noreen Renier for help. But can a psychic, hundreds of miles away, help solve the mystery of what happened to the taxman? Or will a vengeful, violent killer remain at large?
