Episode 6
Pete Sampras
At age 19, Pete Sampras became the youngest U.S. Open winner in history. After several uneven years on the tour and a devastating loss to Stefan Edberg in the 1992 U.S. Open, Sampras resolved to dedicate himself to the game and fulfill his yet untapped potential. We'll look at the life of this outstanding player and see how, before retiring from tennis in 2002, Sampras went on to win 14 Grand Slams and reigned as the world's No. 1 Player for a record six years straight (1993-1998).
