Tallulah Bankhead was born on January 31, 1902, in Huntsville, Alabama. In 1926, she gained acclaim for her stage performance in They Knew What They Wanted. In 1931, she landed a film contract with Paramount Pictures. In 1939, she was in the play The Little Foxes. She starred in the Hitchcock film Lifeboat in 1944. In the 1950s and 1960s she took T.V. roles. She died on December 12, 1968, in New York City.
