Siobhan Magnus biography
Born on March 15, 1990, in Barnstable, Massachusetts, Siobhan Magnus went on to perform as a singer and actress, starring in a high school production of The Wizard of Oz that was featured on the reality series High Drama. Magnus later made it to the Top 10 of the ninth season of American Idol. Magnus continues to record today. In 2012, she released the album Moonbaby.
Siobhan Eveyln Magnus was born in Barnstable, Massachusetts, on March 15, 1990, to parents Alan and Colleen Magnus. Her father, who often performed in his own bands, proved to be an early musical influence for the young Magnus. She began singing on her own at the age of 9.
While attending Barnstable High School, Siobhan Magnus played the role of Dorothy in a production of The Wizard of Oz. The performance was taped for a WB reality show called High Drama. After graduation in 2008, Magnus took a job as an apprentice glass blower, and began singing for the band Lunar Valve.
In 2009, she auditioned for reality singing competition American Idol.
