Siobhan Magnus is an American singer-songwriter from Barnstable, Massachusetts who was the sixth place finalist on the ninth season of American Idol. After her elimination, she performed on David Letterman. In 2010, Magnus performed with the boy band Hanson at the Bardot in Hollywood, California. In 2011, she put out her debut album and released the single "Beatrice Dream" on iTunes.Profile
Singer. Born on March 15, 1990, to parents Alan and Colleen Magnus. Magnus' father proved to be an early musical influence for Siobhan; he often performed in his own bands. Siobhan began singing on her own at the age of 9.
While attending Barnstable High School, Magnus played the role of Dorothy in a production of The Wizard of Oz. The performance was taped for a WB reality show called High Drama. After graduation in 2008, Magnus took a job as an apprentice glass blower, and began singing for the band Lunar Valve.
In 2009, she auditioned for reality singing competition American Idol.
