Peggy Lee was an American jazz singer, songwriter and actress whose career spanned six decades. In 1942 Lee had her first #1 hit, "Somebody Else Is Taking My Place." In then began collaborating on songs, often with her husband, Dave Barbour, including “Mañana,” and several songs for Walt Disney's Lady and the Tramp. She received three Grammy Awards, including the Lifetime Achievement Award.
