Born December 6, 1958, British animator Nick Park was hired by Aardman Animations based on his college work-in-progress, A Grand Day Out, which later won a BAFTA Award. Park received an Academy Award for his next short, Creature Comforts. Park and Aardman also hit it big with the claymation duo Wallace and Gromit, whose adventures include The Wrong Trousers and The Curse of the Were-Rabbit.
