Born on March 20, 1908 in Bristol, England, Michael Redgrave would go on to become one of the Western world’s leading thespians with roles on stage and screen, including Alfred Hitchcock projects and the British film The Dam Busters. He authored four books and wrote plays as well. He was knighted in 1959 and his children Vanessa, Corin and Lynn all became actors. He died on March 21, 1985, in England.
