Michael Kidd biography

Michael Kidd was born on August 12, 1919 in Brooklyn, New York. He studied at the School of American Ballet, dancing with that company and later with American Ballet Theatre. He choreographed many Broadway musicals, including four that won successive Tony Awards. His film credits include The Bandwagon, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, and Hello, Dolly!. Kidd died in 2007.
