Matt LeBlanc was born on July 25, 1967 in Newton, Mass. He did television commercials in New York City while training as an actor. He then moved to Hollywood and played a range of television roles before achieving success as Joey Tribbiani on the series Friends. His spin-off series Joey aired from 2004-2006. LeBlanc's feature films include Lost in Space, and Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle.

Born July 25, 1967 in Newton, Massachusetts. After leaving school, Matt LeBlanc took several television commercial parts in New York City, then trained as an actor.
LeBlanc moved to Hollywood, where he played a range of television roles before achieving success as Joey Tribbiani in the acclaimed series Friends (1994-2004). His spin-off series Joey aired from 2004-2006. LeBlanc's feature films include Lookin' Italian (1994), Lost in Space (1998), and Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle (2003).
In 2011, LeBlanc experienced a new wave of television triumph with Episodes. He plays a fictionalized version of himself on the comedy series. LeBlanc has no problem with getting laughs at his own expense through his on-screen alter ego. "I don't mind being the brunt of a joke if it's a good joke. And thus far they've been good jokes." He won a Golden Globe for his work on the show in 2012.
From 2003 to 2006, Matt LeBlanc was married to Melissa McKnight with whom he had one daughter, Marina.
