Igor Fyodorovich Stravinsky was a Russian pianist, composer and conductor born on June 17, 1882 in Oranienbaum, Russia. As one of the most influential composers in the twentieth century, he adopted all the important musical style trends of his time, ranging from the classics to modern forms. His most famous works included the ballets The Firebird, Petrushka and The Rite of Spring. Stravinsky died on April 6, 1971.
