Henry Mancini (b. April 16, 1924) was an American composer, conductor, and arranger, His best-known works include the theme music for the 1958 television series Peter Gunn, and the humorous score for The Pink Panther film series and the songs "Moon River" for the film Breakfast at Tiffany's and "Days of Wine and Roses" for the film Days of Wine and Roses. He won 20 Grammy Awards and 2 Emmys.
