Hans Bethe biography

Born in Germany in 1906, Hans Albrecht Bethe began studying physics at an early age. Forced to flee Germany during World War II, Bethe continued his work in America and won a Nobel Prize for his discoveries around energy generation in stars. He was initially involved in development of the atomic bomb but had moral misgivings about it and later worked against development of nuclear weapons.
