Felix Frankfurter biography

Felix Frankfurter was born Nov. 15, 1882 in Vienna, Austria. He was a legal adviser to President Woodrow Wilson at the Paris Peace Conference. During the immediate postwar period he helped found the American Civil Liberties Union. When Franklin D. Roosevelt became president in 1933, Frankfurter advised him on New Deal legislation. Frankfurter was appointed to the Supreme Court in 1939.
