Don DeLillo biography

Profile

Don DeLillo’s first novel was Americana, but with 1977’s Players, DeLillo's vision turned darker, and critics found little to like in the novel's protagonists but much to admire in DeLillo's prose. White Noise (1985) won the National Book Award for fiction, and Libra was much discussed, presenting a fictional portrayal of Lee Harvey Oswald. DeLillo's later works include Underworld and Falling Man.
