Dmitri Mendeleyev biography
Born in Russia on February 8, 1834, Dmitri Mendeleyev was a Russian chemist who developed the periodic classification of the elements. In his version of the periodic table, he left gaps in places where he believed unknown elements would fit in and predicted the likely properties of three of the potential elements.
